We absolutely loved our stay here we stayed Friday to the Monday and from check in to check out it was an amazing service from all staff. The breakfast was absoloutly beautiful couldn't fault it. I think the only thing me and my partner wasn't so keen on was the bed as we found it quite hard but that's down to personal preference. Nice and peaceful and is a good base hotel. We would without a doubt recommend and would 1000 % come back in the future.
The staff here were absolutely brill. Stayed here last night with my little lad after monster jam and the lady on the desk in the evening just fuelled his excitement for what he'd just seen! Brekkie was spot on and our room was lovely and clean. Can't fault it! We'll be back next year!!!!

clean hotel well equipped. Comfortable beds and cool lamps above the beds . The only objections I have to the curtains in the bathroom. should already be replaced. And the soluble coffee in the rooms was 4 months past due.
The breakfast is minimal but good. Rooms are spacious, but don't open the window because the hotel is next to the motorway. They have a strange policy on shower gel. I would suggest in installing refillable soap dispensers in the showers instead of not replacing used mini-packages.

This pub has good tasty food. I went here for Sunday lunch and had a traditional roast and dessert. The plate had plenty of food, which was fresh with meat and potatoes in the plate, abs then vegetables served in dishes so you could help yourself. I had the cheesecake for dessert and really enjoyed it. The food here is served quickly, but as it can be busy. I recommend always phoning up to book to ensure there is a table. There's parking to the back of the pub and the cycle path is nearly so it's a good place to stop if you are cycling past.
Very nice place to eat and their steaks are amazing. Table service is friendly and we're always made to feel welcome. I've never had a bad experience here. It's my first choice whenever I wish to eat out.

Local pub. Rarely eaten there but it was good. Neighbours all highly praise it. Praise for keeping it as a pub but still serving excellent food. Good selection of pulled ales and friendly helpful staff. Nice lawned garden.
Love this place. Lovely food and staff. Good value for money. My go to place.

Very lovely country pub with great views and secluded setting. Fitted us in for Sunday lunch at short notice . Great food and jovial staff. Nice atmosphere. Only reason it's a four star instead of a five is due to limited parking and limited choice ..but this could have been due to the fact we were a "fit in" and not a" booked table. "
We went last week and can honestly say it was the best pub food I've eaten in a long time. Great service as well. We don't bother usually looking at the menu as the specials board is always packed with great options. Would highly reccomend this place

we stayed in the cottage next to the large farm house which is the b and b. very clean, warm and felt totally at home. There was 4 adults as our kids are older teenages and we had lots of space and 3 bedrooms which was great. loved the kitchen and setting up for breakfast in the morning before we went out for the day. enjoyed this holiday and I'm sure all others guest would too with friendly family and their lovely farm dogs.
Great B&B, would return at every opportunity I am in the area!
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
